Ammon, Idaho

We serve families throughout the Eastern Idaho region.

What to expect

We are a small, volunteer-run organization still building our capacity, and email is handled personally rather than by staff. Please allow up to a week for a reply.

If you need help urgently, please don't wait on us. Our Get Help page lists organizations across Eastern Idaho that are staffed today and can respond right away.

Donate goods, not just money

Much of what we do runs on donated items rather than cash. If you are replacing an appliance, clearing out a home, or have a vehicle you no longer need, it can go directly to a family who needs it.

What we can use

Vehicles — cars and trucks in running condition, which we place with families who need reliable transportation for work and medical appointments.

Major appliances — working refrigerators, washers, and dryers.

Beds and furniture — especially beds, bedding, and kitchen essentials for families setting up a home.

How it works

Email us a short description of the item and your general location. We will confirm whether we can place it and arrange pickup or drop-off.

Because we match items directly to specific families rather than warehousing them, there are times we may need to decline something we cannot currently place. We will always tell you honestly.

Your tax receipt

We provide a written acknowledgment for every donated item, which is what the IRS requires you to keep for any single donation of $250 or more.

Following IRS rules, our acknowledgment describes what you donated but does not assign it a dollar value — determining fair market value is the donor's responsibility.

A note on vehicles

Donated vehicles carry additional IRS requirements beyond a standard receipt, and the paperwork differs depending on whether a charity sells the vehicle or gives it directly to a family in need.

Because we place vehicles directly with families, we will walk you through the right documentation. We'd encourage you to confirm the details with your own tax advisor.

Prefer to give financially?

Cash donations let us cover repairs, fuel, and the gaps that donated goods can't fill. Every contribution is tax-deductible.
