Who We Are

Our Mission

FaithNHope Neighbors is dedicated to sharing Christ's love by serving newly resettled families and single mothers in need. We provide essential household items, financial assistance, auto and home repairs, and basic financial guidance to help build stability and resilience. Our mission is to offer faith, hope, and practical support as we work together to create a brighter, more secure future in the spirit of Jesus Christ.

Our Story

FaithNHope Neighbors was born from personal experience and a deep calling to serve. Our founders, Sam and his family, have been touched by the struggles that families face, and this has shaped their hearts for service.

Personal Inspiration: Sam's father grew up in poverty after his father deserted the family, leaving eight children with a mother who became mentally ill. The children were scattered, facing hunger, neglect, and the deep wounds that come from feeling "less than." This experience instilled in Sam a fierce compassion for children and families facing hardship.

Sam's mother navigated single parenthood, and family members have walked through divorce and its challenges. These experiences created a deep understanding of how difficult it can be to provide stability when you're carrying the weight alone.

Global Perspective: From 1998-2000, Sam served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Honduras, one of the world's poorest countries. Living alongside families in extreme poverty, he learned to love people facing unimaginable challenges and gained a profound appreciation for basic needs that many of us take for granted.

Our Approach: Neighbors

We don't believe in being anyone's savior—that role belongs to Jesus Christ alone. Instead, we strive to be good neighbors: offering help here and there, lending a hand when it's needed, and walking alongside families as they build stability and strength.

We're here to help with immediate needs while families work toward independence. Sometimes that's a bed for a child, sometimes it's car repairs so a single mom can get to work, sometimes it's helping with educational expenses so a young person can build a better future.
